winter solstice event

Celebrate the marking of longer days and shorter nights with us.

We will be having a Winter Solstice Sunrise gathering on Friday, June 21st in Cape Town, South Africa to experience and honour the turning of the Sun. Come rain or shine! All are welcome.

The solstice sun turns back south, on the morning of the 22nd June and reaches its northernmost position on the 21st around 6 pm. We have selected this Friday the 21st as rain is expected this Saturday.

A Safe Mountain Hike initiative of the Sacred Sites Foundation.

Here on the Corner of Muizenberg Mt. lies a Sacred Dolmen aligned to capture the Winter Solstice Sunrise…this is a really special and magical Experience come and Join us!! Cape Town’s very own Stonehenge!
