Sacred sites day trips, tours and events
Sharing sacred sites and the reverence of their rich heritage is one of the ways that the research of the Sacred Sites Foundation is supported. Funds from each tour are paid to the Foundation ensuring that the exploration and discovery, the mapping and conserving of sites throughout Southern Africa continues.
Most importantly, each of our trips is operated in conjunction with the custodians of these sites, people who are ancestrally linked to them – creating sustainability for the protection and conservation needed. Each sacred site has a custodianship plan that has a positive impact on the surrounding communities, especially the indigenous descendants of the original peoples. These programs are always in need of Funding, not simply from tours but through donations too, so that they might, along with our foundation, uphold the spiritual & cultural ways of our early the Early human beings, ancestors of the Koi-San.
